Telescopic covers play an important role in protecting your machines and equipment. KABELSCHLEPP telescopic covers of steel have proven themselves in practice for decades with their high stability and functionality. To make them even better, we had to practically reinvent them.
Normally, the elements of a telescopic cover of are welded together from steel plates. The heat generated during this process, however, results in strains, warping and discoloration in the plate, which require expensive retouching.
The future generation of telescopic covers
To prevent this, we have developed an innovative, modular construction for the new telescopic covers. The plates are not welded any more, but only joined together with a new shackle joint.
This assembly of industrially pre-finished parts increases the accuracy, quality and speed of production. This shortens the delivery period and also makes the telescopic covers more costeffective. And owing to the absence of weld seams and spots, the steel surface remains untouched, which also provides an optically better result.

Intelligent cover plate rear wall joining
This mounting solution involving cover plate and rear wall facilitates an industrial production organization. The principle of Producing and mounting individual parts = finished product radically boosts production speed and quality.
New Roller and Glider Construction
Even rollers and sliders which e.g. are required for supporting rear walls of the individual boxes in the telescopic covers were developed anew. For the first time, plastic parts were developed as rollers and slider holders that no longer need to be screwed or welded. A click and everything fits precisely into the correct place. Here, too, service and repair work can be carried out more quickly, because all the parts can be replaced very easily.

A Plus for Quality, Service and Repairs
Owing to the industrial construction, it is not only the production time during new constructions that is shortened. The use of modern production technology ensures exactly reproducible results. This becomes noticeable in the multiple production of a certain telescopic cover. And finally, the costs of maintenance and repair work also reduces dramatically. The telescopic cover can be dismantled and assembled quite easily.
Worn parts can be separately replaced, damaged parts can be replaced individually. And lots of jobs for which the complete telescopic cover would earlier have to be transported to the Service Center can now be mostly carried out onsite.
