Based on our tried and tested cable and hose carrier systems, we have developed a rolling carriage system for plastic M series drag chains, making it possible to achieve travel lengths of up to 1,000 metres.

With conventional arrangements, the upper part of the chain glides on its lower strand. The friction caused by this action and the tensile forces and thrust arising from it limit the maximum travel length of the installation. With the rolling carriage system, all the moving elements are supported by rollers. The driving forces are minimized by this rolling friction. Ball-bearing rollers are positioned on the drag chain and on its support.
No channel is needed to support the lower strand of the drag chain-only a low lateral guide is required.
